Silicon Valley isn’t only the most important technology centre in the world, but it’s also a hub of inspiration. Luckily, the Valley is great at distributing that wisdom, especially through Twitter. On a daily basis, we can enjoy inspiring Tweets that help us build better companies, make loads of money, and live happier lives.
In the same vein as my post last week about how to understand Silicon Valley speak, I have taken it upon myself to compile a list of slightly tweaked inspirational quotes that will help entrepreneurs and civilians alike empower themselves for a brighter future.
Here they are:
Failure’s just success waiting to happen (to someone else).
Stay focused and keep on sucking.
Never take “no” for an answer – instead, take it on a hot date to Yesland. Then, when it’s nice and drunk…
A pivot isn’t a sign of failure – it’s the beginning of enlightenment.
A pivot isn’t a sign of failure – it’s the beginning of your Series B.
Freedom’s just another word for nothing left to monetize.
Impossible is for losers (and the underclass).
Fail fast. No, seriously, hurry up.
An entrepreneur’s most valuable skill is knowing when to quit. For most of you, that was yesterday.
Fail big, because failing small is for people who don’t have VC backing.
A pivot isn’t a sign of failure – it’s a prancey little dance move.
Iterate, iterate, iterate. Then look that word up in the dictionary.
Eat your own dog food, but only if it’s organic.
Failure is a sign you’re not succeeding hard enough.
