Though we only hold them once every three months, our PandoMonthly events in Los Angeles have never failed to impress. Lowercase Capital’s Chris Sacca may not have sent rockets into space like our last guest in Los Angeles, Elon Musk, but that didn’t make last night’s event any less interesting.

Sacca touched on a variety of subjects, from his beginnings as a law student gaming the system to make millions – which he ultimately lost – and the mindset that got him through owing millions of dollars on a few risky investments that didn’t quite pay off. He revealed that he’s started a Los Angeles -specific fund (and that StyleSeat is likely to become his third or fourth best investment), and talked a bit about the problems plaguing startups, including venture capitalists’ attitude problems and the sense of entitlement that has crept into startup culture.
