Through some sort of magical tracking device, Global Equities Research has determined that people have downloaded over 350,000 textbooks from Apple’s iBooks store since the launch last week. How they are tracking this is unclear. However, it should be noted that an incredibly large number of those downloads are likely the free downloads Apple offered and people are testing out. There aren’t many people that want to spend $15 on a basic biology book just for fun.
