Adobe is looking to make any some cash off of Flash Player. The strategy is to impose a 9 percent tax on all game developers that make more than $50,000 per year off of the Flash platform. Developers need only pay if they are taking advantage of “Flash Player Premium,” which covers almost all game developers, as the premium features are the most graphics-capable. Of course, developers could just stop using Flash as a platform and switch to AIR or native code. Or HTML5. Or anything at all.
