Amazon buyers in Connecticut will soon no longer be free and clear from sales tax. Starting in November, residence of Connecticut will begin paying the 6.35 percent sales tax on Amazon purchases. While the online retail giant has been fighting Connecticut taxes, stating, “not obligated to abide by the state’s Internet tax law because it does not have a physical presence in Connecticut,” its view has shifted.
