Julie Larson-Green, the new head of Windows product development, was interviewed by MIT Technology Review about her new role, Surface, and Windows 8. Larson-Green said that Windows 8 is not a reaction to the iPad, that the time it takes to adjust to the new operating system – anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks – isn’t really all that bad, and that things won’t change much with Steven Sinofsky out of the picture.
