Flurry offers detailed analytics to application makers and is incorporated into over 160,000 applications on iOS, Windows Phone 7, Android, and the Web. The company has announced that they will be using the data that they’ve collected to launch a mobile advertising company, AppSpot. The service will be free to try and only charges its customers once they move to “premium” advertising. With Burstly’s acquisition of Testflight and the subsequent building of Testflight Live, the mobile ads space is starting to heat up, as companies become aware of the huge market size.
