AOL’s hyper-local blogging network, Patch, has never had it easy. The division has faced continued troubles since its inception, and that is not going to let up anytime soon. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Patch is set to be hit with another round of layoffs, this time with 20 people being let go as a result of a restructuring effort. Theoretically it will streamline the company; realistically it will cut costs for AOL.
