Apple has been granted patents for “disappearable” multi-touch surfaces that can embedded in devices, and a cooling system that redirects air within a device to where it’s most needed. The former expands on tech that allows for light to shine through nearly invisible holes in a device’s metal surface by describing ways to control the light levels via touch. The latter could solve the overheated-lap problem by using a solid-state air-circulation apparatus that uses magnets to shift air around within a device. [Source: Apple Insider]
