The big hoopla over Google Glasses doesn’t just have the tech industry abuzz (or eBayers), it has also captivated the art world. Its not the actual glasses that have artists interested, it is how technology like the Google Glasses is creating an “augmented reality,” one that allows artists to experiment with their craft and technology. A current exhibition at the Eyebeam Art+Technology Center, provides the latest creations of these artists and a lot of the concepts are really cool. For example, one artist took a bunch of family mementos, lined them up on a table, and once an iPad passed these souvenirs, memories would pop up on the screen. [Source: Hyperallergic]
