Avocado, a web and mobile app that enables couples to stay connected, is launching today. It lets you send pictures and cute messages to your significant other without the worry of others viewing your exchanges on other social media platforms such as Facebook. The couple behind the venture, Chris Wetherell and Jenna Bilotta, both used to be apart of Google (Google Reader, Gmail, and Youtube). The smartphone app costs $1.99, but the love shared is free of charge.
