Reporter Greg Sandoval has decided to throw in the towel and quit CNET because of questionable editorial practices. Sandoval took to his Twitter account to make the announcement. “Sad to report that I’ve resigned from CNET. I no longer have confidence that CBS is committed to editorial independence.” The choice to leave CNET could stem from the fact the tech site choose not to put Dish Network’s Hopper DVR on the “Best of CES,” list due to an impeding lawsuit between Dish and CNET’s parent company CBS.
