Corbis, the image licensing company owned by Bill Gates, is facing a $12.5 million fine following a court case that alleged fraud. The case follows a contractual dispute between Corbis and Infoflows, both of which worked together formerly, but which are now at odds. The fine isn’t as high as the original $36 million awarded by the jury, but it is still sizable for the company. Corbis is reportedly considering further appeals, according to Geekwire.
