Enterprise digital marketing software company DataXu has raised $27 million in funding in a round led by  Thomvest Ventures with participation from existing investors, Atlas Venture, Flybridge Capital Partners, and Menlo Ventures. The company invented a category it calls “programatic marketing,” which utilizes a real-time multivariate decision system to learns how consumers engage across channels and optimizes media accordingly.
