Baird Equity Research has compiled a survey of developers that shows the outlook for BlackBerry 10 has fallen from 4.6 to 3.8 on a ten point scale (BlackBerry 7 is worse falling from 3.8 to 2.8). Comparing this to other platforms in the ecosystem, Windows 8 enjoys a confidence level of 6.3, Android one of 8.7, and Apple’s iOS enjoys a score of 9.3. Putting the BB10 score in perspective, it’s only marginally higher than the confidence in the dead or soon to be dead WebOS, Adobe Flash, and Adobe Air. With developers the driving force behind platform success, this does not bode well for the struggling Waterloo based company. [Source VentureBeat]
