Sick of not being able to use WiFi during a plane’s takeoff and landing? Yeah, we all are, but Boeing is currently running tests to see if it can knock that one complaint off the list. In order to run the tests, the company tasked some 20,000 pounds of potatoes with hanging out on a grounded plane – apparently, potatoes “reflect and absorb” electronic signals the same way as a human body.
