A new report out Tuesday shows 2012 DVD sales topped $18 billion, a .23% increase from 2011. While the sales boost isn’t huge, it does demonstrate the market is beginning to stabilize after a seven year decrease in sales. Even with the small jump, movie production companies will take it. “That’s critical because whether or not our film business is profitable depends on how well it does on the home entertainment side,” said Ron Sanders, Warner Bros’ home video president, to The Los Angeles Times.  [Source: The Los Angeles Times]
