Following a quick shut-down of Vine, the six-second video service from Twitter, and Wonder, a “Siri-like” tool from Yandex, Facebook has clarified its position on services and apps that use its platform. The company says that the “vast majority” of developers should “keep doing what you’re doing,” but that other services “using Facebook to either replicate our functionality or bootstrap their growth in a way that creates little value for people on Facebook,” should essentially bugger off.
