Farming is no longer Facebook’s modus operandi when it comes to its social gaming strategy. (Ten-year-old me would have been confused about why it ever was in the first place.) The company is now targeting so-called hardcore gamers with the launch of 10 high quality, action and battling games in 2013. Dave Jones, Chief Creative Officer of nWay, who has worked on “Grand Theft Auto,” says he thinks Facebook can be a platform similar to Xbox LIVE.
