Somewhat shocking data reveals that between Baby Boomers (50-64), GenXers (30-49), and Millennials (18-19), GenXers use more gigabytes worth of data than their children or parents. GenXers use up to 825 MB/mo surfing the internet, while Millennials use only 650 MB/mo. Millennials though use more data on their mobile devices, while GenXers spend more time watching TV and using tablets/eReaders. More telling, people as a whole are generating 5 billion GB of data every 2 days, and by 2014 that will increase to every 10 minutes. [Source: ReadWrite]
