As of early next year, the Chevrolet Spark and Sonic LTZ and RS will be the first vehicles to integrate Siri, Apple’s voice assistant. Drivers of these cars who have iPhones will be able to use Siri to perform a number of tasks while keeping their eyes on the road, including making calls, playing songs, composing and sending text messages, and adding calendar appointments. Siri will also have an “Eyes Free” mode that lets users interact with their phones without the screens lighting up. So there goes Apple’s next move – taking over your cars. [Source: GM]
