Google and Bing are being accused of directing search queries to sites that host illegal music and movie content, above the legitimate means of accessing that content. The information was accessed by way of a Freedom of Information Request, and shows that lobbying groups likely including the MPAA and RIAA have complained about both search engines. It isn’t a major surprise that lobbyists aren’t fans of Google’s. They aren’t really fans of working business models, either.
