Slowly but surely Google is getting closer to testing their autonomous vehicles. The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles issued Google’s license application for testing their autonomous cars on Nevada’s state roads today. However, there are a few stipulations; the autonomous vehicles must always have at least 2 people in the car in case of an emergency, and the companies testing these cars must have an insurance bond of $1 million in addition to a plan explaining where they will be testing each vehicle.
