Good news, Sundar Pichai, the Senior Vice President of Chrome, has said that Google will be integrating their GDrive with the newest version of Chrome OS. The problem with Chrome OS is that it’s difficult to move files from one place to another. GDrive allows people working in the cloud to create and share documents easily, file storage is not the only purpose it serves. So in theory, the marriage of GDrive with Chrome OS should prove to be a good thing. “We’ll…effectively integrate [Google] Drive into the native file system of Chrome OS, all the core OS functionality will use [Google] Drive as a place to store data — if that’s what you opt in to.” Scott Johnson, GDrive product manager.
