Google and Motorola Mobility have been ordered to turn over information relating the initial building and continued development of Android to Apple. The order came from U.S Circuit Judge Richard A. Posner, who is overseeing a patent lawsuit between the companies. This is a big win for Apple, as the evidence could show that Google willfully infringed upon Apple’s patents during the development of Android, and that Motorola and Google are continuing the practice through to today. While it is still speculative, it could end up being a major bonus for Apple.
