The Republican chairman has publicly stated that Google has been working behind the scenes with legislators to ensure that CISPA becomes a reality. Apparently, Mike Rogers, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, stated that Google is working to help craft the language, so that CISPA does not run into the same problems that SOPA ran into: vague and too broad. Google hasn’t confirmed this, but it isn’t hard to believe, and would be surprising if it weren’t true.
