Today, the Daily Mail claimed Hewlett-Packard was looking to cut up 200 people in its U.K. Autonomy software sector. According to AllThingsD, the number isn’t even close to being that high. The tech website states less than 70 people will lose their jobs with the cuts occurring in sales. AllThingsD also wrote the downsizing was planned back in September, well before the $5 billion write down scandal. [Source: AllThingsD]
