Time for a fight! Instagram has disabled its integration with Twitter cards, meaning Instagram photos will no longer display properly on Twitter’s website and applications. “Users are experiencing issues with viewing Instagram photos on Twitter,” Twitter said on its website. “This is due to Instagram disabling its Twitter cards integration, and as a result, photos are being displayed using a pre-cards experience.” Instagram, we probably don’t need to remind you, is owned by Twitter rival Facebook. In July, Twitter shut off the API for Instgram’s “find friends on Twitter” feature. Last month it was reported that Twitter also plans to offer Instagram-like filters for photos taken using its mobile apps.  [Source: NYT Bits Blog]
