Iran is looking to further its control of its domestic Internet, this time by publishing a request for information asking for methods to filter and monitor the Internet. This document provides evidence that shows that Iran has been having technical difficulties with implementing its secure and “pure” domestic Internet, which it had been attempting to create via a partnership with China.
