Microsoft is set to bring the Windows Store to 33 additional countries according to The Next Web. Currently, applications can only be submitted from 5 countries to the Windows Store for Windows 8, but the opening of the pool to additional countries will naturally greatly increase the number of Metro-style applications that will be released for the OS later this year. This is likely just the first step in Microsoft’s developer acquisition plan for the year, which will ramp up over the coming months.
