Microsoft ran into a small PR problem this weekend, when a blogger wasn’t given his prize after winning a Windows Phone vs. Android/iPhone competition. The blogger then published a post on this problem, as bloggers are wont to do. Microsoft has apparently decided to let bygones be bygones and has given the blogger the prize that he was deprived of, a $1,000 Windows laptop. Of course, the question is then why Microsoft refused the prize in the first place. Well, it appears that the entire competition is designed so that Windows wins (obviously). There’s even a guide for employees, which The Verge has obtained.
