Microsoft has launched their Windows Azure Accelerator, a fairly typical accelerator program designed to encourage startups to build services utilizing Microsoft’s cloud-based solution. TechCrunch reports that this will be the first of “many” themed accelerators from Microsoft, and that the company will learn as much as possible from its four month, biannual program. Oh, and the accelerator is based in Microsoft’s Israel office, and has already signed ten startups up for its first class.
