Motorola has decided that not all phones are deserving of the latest version of Android, and that it will only be updating phones to Android 4.0 that will be improved by the version. While that may seem like an obvious policy to have — don’t do things that make products worse — it may be more of a move by Motorola to provide cover when it doesn’t upgrade a phone. To be fair, though, in what world does a more secure version of an operating system not improve a product?
