Good news, the Netherlands have passed new net neutrality regulation into law. This legislation was decided last June, however, only today did the second legislative chamber put it into action. This means that mobile internet service provider KPN will no longer be able to charge users access to Skype, or make sure that all internet traffic occurs through their service. This law also includes anti-wire tapping regulations. All in all the Netherlands should be happy as they are the first of the EU nations on their way to privacy and internet freedom.
