Robert Chmielinski is suing Finnish phone company Nokia for failing to turn the tide in the smartphone wars. Chmielinski is seeking damages for himself and others that purchased stock in the company, claiming that Nokia’s push with Windows Phone 7 hasn’t helped change the stock price as previously promised. So, essentially, Chmielinski is suing a publicly traded company – which already has financial problems – for the continued decline in its stock. I wouldn’t recommend asking Mr. Chmielinski for a favor any time soon.
