Nokia reported fourth quarter sales figures today and, with 4.4 million Windows Phone-equipped Lumias out of its total 15.9 million smartphones (and 70.3 million feature phones) the company surpassed consensus low expectations. The company sold 2.9 million Lumias in the third quarter and 4 million in the second quarter. Note that shipped, refers to devices sent to sales channels, not necessarily those sold to end-users.
