Another roadblock for services looking to “disrupt” the taxi industry. A judge in New York City put the kibosh on an “e-hail” too” that would allow people to grab a cab with the click on their smartphone. Well, at least a temporary kibosh. The service was supposed to go into effect as early as today, but after the cab companies felt like the feature would jeopardize their business an order was put in place.  It will only be in effect until the 18th, when the two parties must come back to court to make their arguments.
