In an attempt to creatively bring in ad dollars, Pandora has partnered with Intel to reveal the inner workings of its Music Genome Project, the complex categorization system it uses to create its stations.  Or, in Pandora’s words, a “hand-built taxonomy of musical DNA.” It’s a year-long program, called Inside the Music, which allows users (and competitors?) to poke around the taxonomy of their favorite artists.
