Pinterest may start sharing revenue with its pinners due to PinDollars, a company that scans pinned items attaching links to related products. Here’s the catch, the links from PinDollars are managed by Skimlinks, a product Pinterest tried, but did not end up using. Since Pinterest does not allow the site to be used for commercial purposes this may not be a good thing.  Chris Hedgecock, PinDollars creator, “is not planning to take any revenue for himself, though he said Skimlinks retains about 30 percent. Hedgecock said he has about 100 Pinterest users signed up now after launching this weekend.”
