Scientific American has a blog post looking at Pinterest’s ToS, and it’s not pretty. Essentially, by using Pinterest you’re agreeing that you own what you pin, and that Pinterest can basically do whatever the fuck it wants with your photos once they’re on the service. In other words, pinning something is transferring ownership, and if you aren’t okay with that, too bad; you can’t remove those photos from Pinterest’s database.
