Public Knowledge, a public interest group, is responding to AT&T’s proposed data policy changes by saying that the telecom giant should be investigated. AT&T proposed billing developers for the data their users consumed, rather than the normal policy of billing users. Public Knowledge is saying that this change would constitute fraudulent policy changes, and should be investigated by the US government. In all likelihood, this won’t go anywhere until and unless AT&T actually implements the policy change.
