RIAA and IFPA are exploring the possibility of suing Google over search results that highlight “pirate” sites including the aptly named Pirate Bay, TorrentFreak reports. Google already works with the record labels to de-prioritize search results for Blogger pages leading to pirated content. The recording industry apparently isn’t satisfied with that–the two organizations want Pirate Bay and friends demoted in search results, and they’re willing to sue to get it.
