After a deadly gas leak killed an employee and injured four others at a Seoul chip plant, Samsung is in a lot of trouble with South Korean authorities. While Samsung did repair the plant, it decided not to report the incident. It wasn’t until the death of an employee did Samsung acknowledge the leak. By not reporting the accident, Samsung violated the South Korea’s Toxic Chemicals Control Act. The agency is considering fining Samsung 1 million won or $923 U.S. dollars. [Source: AllThingsD]
