In the latest move in a never ending patent war between Apple and Samsung, the Korean electronics company has filed suit against the Australian patent commissioner (and therefore the Federal Government). The company hopes to force a review of four key patents  it claimS were inappropriately granted to Apple between 2009 and 2010. Samsugn hopes to nullify the patents which are central to Apple’s efforts to ban Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet from sale in Australia. It now appears that Apple will accuse Samsung in final hearings of a total of 258 infringement claims involving 22 patents. The case against the commissioner is expected to be concluded before final hearings begin in July. [Source iTnews]
