In a post early this morning on Google+, a social network used by Google employees, Google co-founder Sergey Brin said he was “dreading today’s election” because “no what the outcome, our government will still be a giant bonfire of partisanship.” (Mmm, nice, warm bonfire.) “It is ironic,” Brin said, “since whenever I have met with our elected officials they are invariably thoughtful, well-meaning people. And yet collectively 90% of their effort seems to be focused on how to stick it to the other party.” He called on the election victors to withdraw from their parties and govern as independents. That’s so Googley. [Source: Google+]
