In response to an uptick in spam, and the fact that the messaging platform encountered a large security breach earlier this month, Snapchat rolled out a new security feature this week that required new users to prove that they were actually real people. Unfortunately, it appears that wasn’t good enough as a hacker was able to look at the new update a write a code that bypassed Snapchat’s security requirements in a mere thirty minutes. Ruh roh.
