Jeff Clavier’s firm SoftTech is announcing that it has raised a $55 million Fund III today. The firm will be looking to invest around $400,000 in each company, in exchange for roughly 5% of the company. The fund is aiming to invest in 60 companies over the next three years. This follows the news earlier this week that Andreessen-Horowitz is raising a $1.5 billion fund. Does this spell a bubble? (Answer: No.)
