Sony has released its finalized numbers today for the previous year, and it appears that the company has lost $6.4 billion in 2011. This announcement is in part due to the massive tax bills that the company has been facing, and in part due to the lack of a coherent strategy until recently. Altogether, this week has been one of bad press for Sony, as it announced last week that the company would be laying off 10,000 workers.
