The New York Times reports that Park Jung-geun, a South Korean photographer and activist, has received a suspended 10-month sentence for Retweeting an official North Korean Twitter account’s propaganda posts. Jung-geun says he was only trying to point out the absurdity of the propaganda, but the court didn’t see it that way. It found that Jung-geun’s actions broke South Korea’s National Security Law which bans “praising, encouraging or propagandizing” for North Korea. [Source: The New York Times]
