A study released to commemorate Safer Internet Day (which apparently is a thing that is happening tomorrow) shows children are on average just three clicks away from explicit material on YouTube. What that means is, when kids watch clips of Sesame Street or Yo Gabba Gabba, then follow the trail of breadcrumbs created by YouTube’s own video recommendations, it’s only a matter of clicks before they come upon material that is wildly inappropriate for them.
